2014 Finishes

2014 is wrapping up and I feel like I worked on so many projects that I should make a list.
<Why am I making more work for myself?>

I know I do not have pictures of everything but this is part of what I have stitched this year ...

Mending ... Lots and lots of mending ....

I remade a paintball competition shirt ....

Vests and alterations of the wedding dress ....

Baby blanket with monkeys ....

Baby blanket with paper dollies ...

Baby burp cloths with trucks ...

Baby blanket with trucks and cars ...

Rainbow chair covers ...

Hot pads for a lovely bride ...

I remade - restyled a dozen shirts for a lovely daughter carrying my first grandbaby. Why buy new when we can buy thrift and recreate them into maternity shirts?

Quilted. Bound. Ready to be snuggled.
Sunflower Field ....

My daughter chose a variety of flannels.
Burp cloths for MY future grandbaby! I'm excited!

Celtic Solstice ..... The top is done but the quilting needs to be done. Ugh. Not finished yet. However, this is a WIP - Work In Progress. In Progress! Yeah!

I have only ONE real UFO - an exploding star. The top is 90% finished. I need to sew the sections together and decide if it needs a border.

It's been a busy year and 2015 is already cracking up to be a super busy future. More quilted projects are trying to get from my head to my hands. A grandbaby promises oh so much sewing and creating. Wahoo!

Happy New Year!!
